My Upcoming Trip

Only a few days now until I leave on my long awaited trip to Paris, the UK and Ireland with a stopover in both directions in Seoul, South Korea. I leave Australia on Wednesday 23/04/08 and return on Sunday 29/06/08.

After a one night stopover in Seoul, I plan to spend several days in Paris catching up with my son Nick, then catch the Eurostar via the Chunnel to London, where I can walk to my hotel from St Pancras Station.

Following that, I'll spend approximately seven weeks travelling around the UK and Ireland. During this time I will spend a few days in Cornwall with an old friend, Margaret, who I have not seen for thirty years! I will also meet a couple of cousins I have never met and enjoy a weekend on Orkney, off the coast of Scotland, with some friends of my aunt and uncle. At the end of my UK and Ireland travels, it's back to Paris for a few days then returning to Australia via Seoul. For someone who has never been out of Australia before, this will be a very big adventure!
