Antalya - Last stop in Turkey

We grabbed the dolmus (mini van) up the mountain to Cirali junction and then a mini bus on to Antalya for the night. We had an early flight out the next morning and wanted an afternoon to look around. We were sorry as soon as we got there. Our pansion was right in the middle of the old town inside the ancient fortress walls. Antalya proved to be a wonderful place, very pretty harbour (fishing boats, old men playing music, etc) and an old city, chock a block full of Ottoman houses with plenty of character. The people who ran the Pansion were very friendly, invited us to watch the big soccer game with them but we declined as we had a 3.30 am start the next day. J found a woman who fixed, and made, some jewellery for her. I sat back and drank tea and we watched the sun set over Antalya harbour. Definitely a place which we would have liked to see more of. Will post pics, I am catching up with this process - I can actually remeber back that far (only 6 days). Love, Ash
