We woke up early in Dusseldorf and headed to the train station to put our Eurail Passes to good use! We're headed to Amsterdam! We are really looking forward to visiting old friends that haven't lived in the states for over 9 years!
Our train was supposed to go almost all the way to Amsterdam Centraal station, but we were forced off the train and made to take a bus to Utrecht. It was a hot, long, and crowded bus ride but we finally made it to the train station. Turns out that Rich was taking the train to come meet us but we kept missing each other! LOL
We finally met up with Rich at the Amstel station and we were off to Amstelveen!
It was so good to see both Cathy and Rich again... it was like we all hadn't been apart for 9 years! Such good friends! And, we got to meet Bogart the dog... he's such a hoot.
