We are enjoying a couple of weeks of down time with our family in the Netherlands. We started off with a few days in Noordwijk in a holiday home hear the sea. Then we headed up north to my parents' house, with a brief trip to Amsterdam in between to visit my sisters. Tomorrow we're heading to Henk's parents and then we're flying out to Malaysia on the 20th.
Lorelei and Quinn are spoiled with attention and it's great to see our families enjoying them so much! They're coping with all the changes really well and the flight here was as okay as it can be with 2 kids :) Quinn, our dream baby, slept most of the way whereas Lorelei slept for 15 minutes during the 7 hour night flight...
We're starting to prepare for our trip to Malaysia, where we'll probably be staying for at least 3 months and then take it from there. We are awaiting our permanent residence application for Canada and are going travelling in the meantime. Although we're sad to leave our friends in Toronto and Oakville behind for a while, we are also excited about the adventure to come!
