On Sunday we went to the Batu Caves just outside of Kuala Lumpur.
The main cave is now a Hindu shrine and statue outside is quite impressive (it's certainly big!). But the best bit about going there is seeing all the monkeys that sit/run around/fight on the steps which lead up to the caves. They really are very human like in the way that they can peel bananas!
Don't go there if you're afriad of monkeys.
Malaysian national teams use the steps for fitness training.
The Prime Minister was visiting at the same time as we were there, giving a speech about Malaysia being unique in Asia and the best country ever :)
