After a 6 hour train ride from Venice, we arrive in famous Rome! We met some Americans on board who had spent a month in Europe and got some useful tips for the trip (the guy was an engineer too).
After the train, we took the metro and then the bus to get to Hotel Selva Candida, a quiet little hotel on the outskirts of Rome that was just perfect! Became best friends with the male receptionist who helped us with everything. Since we arrive late, we did not have time to explore Rome yet...
