Rovinj (Rovino) Istrian Peninsula - Croatia

Had a wonderful time in Rovinj - a little taste of Italy. Pigged out on truffles (a local specialty) and had a taste of Italy. The towns on the Istrian Peninsula all have an Italian as well as a Croatian name, the local dialect has a real Italian flavour to it. We also took a day trip on the ferry across to Venice - a real blow out. Will just post some pics as Janet will post more fully about it. Will also follow up this post with some pics of our wonderful time in Venice.  Ash
