Home Sweet Home!

Six weeks, ten countries, eight time zones, eight trains, five buses, one ferry and far too many pot noodles later...  I'm HOME!  Or at least in London, which is my home for now at least, and will be again soon.  So this is my final blog, I thought I should probably write one more as a farewell to my blogging self since I have reached the end of my long journey home, and therefore the start of my new life in England.

Yesterday I enjoyed a nice french breakfast with my parents in Paris in the morning, and then caught the Eurostar train back to London...  and oh how good it feels to be back.  I met my friend Kit at St Pancras station for a glass of champagne, to celebrate the end of my trip, which seemed fitting since it was Kit who took me to the airport two years ago when I moved to Japan.  She is a star.  My first 24 hours back in the country have already been wonderful; watching X Factor and eating minstrels with Adam and Elsie, breakfast cereal and Eastenders, mulled wine on the southbank tonight...  I love London more than ever and I'm really happy to be living here again (even though I'm not officially living anywhere just yet...).  Now I have to start life all over again, which is exciting and I can't wait to spend the next few weeks catching up with friends and family.

I'm sorry for boring everyone with my ramblings over the last few weeks, but I have really enjoyed being able to share what I've been doing and where I've been going with anyone who cared to read about it.  It has been a great few weeks travelling, and I'm already thinking about my next trip, but for now it feels so good to be home.  Lots of love from London xxx
