I'm right here, duh... Just kidding! Yes, last Friday I took 3 trains to get up to Windermere in the famous Lake District! I got there really early so I could spend the whole day hiking around and exploring. I got to see sheep and hills and craggy hilltops and lake windermere and cute cottages. It was fun!!! Right now I'm in Edinburgh...yay!! I got here around 10ish on Monday morning and the first thing I did once I got into the trains station was go and buy myself the largest coffee the served :) It helped. I found my way to the hostel with no problems due to me being responsible and writing down directions beforehand this time. The only real problem was trying to walk up this very steep hill with my rolley suitcase. But I perservered! My hostel is clean and in a great location; most importantly, the bed is VERY comfy..
So far on my trip here in Scotland, I've just been exploring the city, walking the Royal Mile and such. Tomorrow I'm going on a daytrip up allll the way to Loch Ness, but I'm hoping to see Stirling and the castle from Monty Python and the Holy Grail too! I'm also planning on eating at the pub where J.K. Rowling first started writing the Harry Potter books...I'm an HP nerd I guess...
