The next chapter of our tale finds us in sunny Barcelona, eating tapas and drinking sangria.
We are cool. (Sharon told me to say that)
We checked out the La Sagrada Familia, which is kinda weird because they started building it in 1856 or something and they still haven't finished. But when it is it will surely be the most amazing structure ever. Check out the pics.
We also checked out some castle and went on a cablecar for views over the city.
We also went to the beach one day, or was it like a market or something? I couldn't tell because there were so many people selling watches, clothes, massages, etc. I had to spend five minutes saying no to this lady who wanted to give me a massage. She must have rated me.
There are heaps of shady-looking characters in Barcelona, eyeing you up to pick your pockets. My friend in London said that some chick came up to him when he was walking down Las Ramblas and grabbed him on the crotch, while someone was behind him trying to get his wallet!
Things are priced more reasonably here than in France, and we had great dinners a couple of nights for not that much.
Beer is also pretty cheap too. Don't ask me if it was any good - I have no idea any more, I have tasted so many now that I can't keep track of them all. :)
Next we make our way to Madrid.
