and then kathy arrived

kathleen arrived in china just in time to find out that matt lost his passport the night before!  but 72 (terrible) hours and two trips to the Chinese Public Security Bureau later, the nicest cab driver ever returned it to the hostel.  with my mom in tow, we hit Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an and Luoyang.  she is "patiently" waiting for me to finish on the computer so that's all i've got.
