On Friday we just sat around and visited about life and our experience over the past week. We all felt like we should be doing something productive, but it was nice to have a break before our afternoon flight home.
We flew from Tegucigalpa to Miami at 3:00PM, then from Miami back to DFW arriving around 11PM. It was then another two hour drive to Graham after getting our luggage, and then our half hour drive back to Olney. It was a late night, but we made sure to stay up for a nice long hot shower!
We take for granted so much in the United States-- running water, drinkable water, hot water, electricity, plentiful food, hospitals, medicine, toothpaste, churches, freedom of religion, the Bible in our language, etc. It was an incredible and unforgettable experience for both DJ and I. We plan to continue to actively support the missionaries we left behind and if possible to return to serve them again in the coming years. God Bless Honduras and those serving there!
Thank you to all who supported us and prayed for us as we ministered to the Honduran people!!!
